This book was an eye opener.
The author takes us inside the Cornell University Food and Brand Lab, and reveals a long list of experiments showing how mindless eating happens to all of us without us having any clue it’s happening… that’s right… it happens mindlessly.
The part that made me laugh is when, after the experiments prove the effects of specific variables on mindless eating, the research participants are given a full explanation about the experiment that was conducted. When asked if they felt they had been duped, the participants would all say “Nope! Not me… I wouldn’t fall for that.”
There were, of course, parts where I LOL’ed and said to myself “Oh boy… I totally do that!”
If you are curious for a bit of insight into how you eat more than you think you do, this is the book for you!
