Don't Let Your Brain Favour the Negative

I COULD DO THAT BUT, "WHAT IF...?"

Why does the 'what if' usually favour the bad vs. the good?

Why does the 'what if rabbit hole' usually sound more like...

❌ "What if I try that new work out, and I re-injured my shoulder, And then I won't be able enjoy my weekend away, and then I will gain weight, and then I will be unmotivated..."

If you are going to ask yourself "What if...", then try a positive spin

✅ "What if I try a new workout, and it's pretty hard but really challenges me in a good way, and I meet new people, and I feel my shoulder flare up but then the coach is very helpful and offers me ways to take care of my shoulder, and I lose weight, And gain muscle, and feel so motivated..."
